Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m Sara - a Pacific Northwest girl living in a Tucson world. I’ve lived all over the U.S., and while I miss the misty mornings and evergreen forests of the PNW, I am now happily settled and loving life in the desert.
My love for gifting started young, thanks to my mom, Terri. She had this magical gift cabinet that she kept stocked with treasures collected from our travels - handmade goods from local artisans, unique finds from tucked-away markets. She believed the best gifts were the ones that introduced people to something new, something they didn’t even know they wanted or needed.
That philosophy became the foundation of Wanderful Boxes. I’ve always been drawn to makers, markets, and small shops, whether in the middle of nowhere Idaho (where I grew up) or exploring the arts districts of Italy, Mexico, Costa Rica, and beyond. Wanderful Boxes is my way of sharing that thrill of discovery - so you can give gifts to the ones you love and appreciate that feel just as personal and special as if you’d stumbled upon them yourself.
