2022 Corporate Gifting Case Study: Suffolk Sales
Over the 2022 holiday season, for the third year in a row, Suffolk Sales reached out to us about creating Virginia themed custom holiday client appreciation gifts. Being a certified woman owned company, the sourcing priorities were that we find items from woman or family-owned businesses and that we support as many small businesses as possible…check, check, and double check!
We work with so many amazing small businesses that craft unique and high-end products that it wasn’t hard to come up with a gift proposal that would impress their clients and meet their needs. At Wanderful Boxes, our passion is helping companies create gifts that help their brand stand out and that delight the gift recipients. As many of the gifts were to be sent to offices, we wanted them to be beautifully presented as well as shareable among multiple recipients.
Swing’s Coffee Roasters
About Swing’s Coffee:
Swing’s Coffee Roasters is a hometown gem, family owned and operated for over 100 years in Northern Virginia. Their delicious (and ethically sourced!) coffee is beautifully packaged, well loved by our clients and one of our favorite go-tos for gift boxes.
The beautifully crafted and packaged Swing’s Coffee bag was the cornerstone of these gifts. The first item chosen!
Mast Chocolate bars
About Mast:
Rich chocolate made from bean to bar in-house with ethically and sustainably sourced cocoa beans from Tanzania. We included a classic size and a mini size in a variety of flavors as each flavor is unique and delicious. These are a favorite year after year and an item that recipients tend to reorder for themselves or as gifts for others.

About Dante’s Flame Candle Co. :
Long burning, beautifully crafted candles from a woman owned business. Dante’s Flame (named after her dad, Dante) uses all natural soy wax, phthalate free fragrance oils and cotton wicks to create wonderfully scented candles you can feel good about burning. We utilized both their full size amber glass jars as well as their travel tins in varying scents to make the gift box more shareable among teams.

A’Cappella Chocolate
About the Treats :
A family owned company specializing in premium ingredients and intricate tasting notes. Their holidays flavors this year were irresistible and rather than choose, we included a variety of them all. Thankfully we ordered a few extra bags for ourselves! Also, fun fact: They crafted the first hot chocolate bombs!
A’cappella Treats finished off the boxes this year, tied on top to create impact upon opening.

My favorite part of the job, seeing the gifts come together just before shipping out. So many small business goods nestled together!
The gifts came in two piece boxes made in the US by a family owned company and were finished with twine, greenery and dried oranges (straight out of our oven!) In previous years we had done pinecones, greenery and red ribbon so we wanted a unique accent and different color pop this year. We love how the gifts turned out and are happy we were able to support eight other small business owners in the process!
